If this goes national with the prohormone angle, then a mod should make this whole thread should ASAP and there should be no further open posting on the subject. The media went hunting here after the DNP fiasco, so they probably will do it again.

I'm sure the guy's lawyer would agree also...you don't want to incriminate yourself.

First of all you can not be tested for aas for a job at the hospital. Secondly, what difference does it make if his test did come up positive. I think that your buddy is an idiot for letting them test him. Also the hospitals don't test for aas they test for recreational drugs. Deca can stay in your bloodstream for 11 months! Get your story straight before you post something like this!
 
if you look at the labels of some pro-hormones it says that it may convert to a mild form of deca but you better contact Rick collins at Steroid Law.com i contacted him when i got in some shit and he helped me out alot
 
First off swoldier, my story is straight. If you go to wherever you work and look at the drug policy it probably says the same thing as the hospitals says which is, "if a employee tests positive for ANY illegal substance this is grounds for termination." Wether or not the hospital had the right to test him on a TIP is now up to the courts to decide. As far as the difference it makes if he is taking steroids or not, who knows. Maybe the hospital thinks he is a high risk employee and stealing needles and other drugs if he does steroids. One of the Drs. he is friends with thinks this whole thing sucks as well, and thinks the steroids would actually have helped him at his job. Also, refusal to take a drug test is automatic dismissal. Next time read the whole post before you put up a post like this. You might actually learn something!
 
I think he could have a claim

For wrongful dismissal...He should at least be able to demand that they take the test again because they do get false positives. The prohormone thing probably wouldn't fly in my opinion, but most employers have a policy that they offer counseling or something before just firing you on the spot. The lawyer will cost more than it's worth most likely. I'd say his best bet is to say he'd taken some vitamin injections but that he never knowingly took steroids, I don;t know...If all else fails, file for unemployment insurance, and look for a better job.

That sucks....I feel for the guy.
