Also, how long has he been working there. deca can stay in your system for 17-18 months. He could either say he took them before he worked there or maybe he went out of the county, had a bad shoulder went to a doc and the doc gave him a shot (it could have been deca).

Either way, he definately has a wrongful dismissal lawsuit. Did he sign something saying they could test him?

hey if that olympics guy (the shot-put thrower) who tested positive for nandrolone could say that his iron supplements (i believe this is what he claimed) with the drug and get away with it your buddy could get his job back claiming a pro hormone. they cannot fire him for that and any good employment law attorney can get him hired back. It is not illegal to use pro-hormones and as far as they know that is what he was using. Thus them firing him for taking a LEGAL supplement is uncalled for and he can be reinstated.

The name of the shot-putter who tested positive for nandrolone is C.J. Hunter. Maybe your buddy's lawyer could find out who represented Hunter and get some suggestings for beating this type of situation from Hunter's lawyers. Just a suggestion.

Either way, so good suggestions have been offered on here. You should print this out and show it to your buddy or even have him bring it to his lawyer.

No way should an employer be able to get away with bullshit like this.

Man this is total bullshit. What if i went to Europe or Mexico for the weekend and shot up with some deca? Did i break any US laws? NO. So if i did not break any laws what am i getting fired for. Total stupidity. Total.

This defense was tried by a vacationer who while in Europe legally enjoyed some pot in Holland (not sure of country) and upon return was ramdomly tested at work. Test came back positive, man was fired, man sued citing it being legal at time of comsumption, court found that even though consumed while legal, the active substance was still circulating in body (positive test) and that substance (pot) was illegal hence the man's defense was not accpeted as valid.

no seriously, this sucks...especially since I am planning to be in the emergency health profession. Don't they have a list of explicitly banned drugs? it just seems odd that they would take the time to run a test for AAS (most employment screens test just for rec drugs) when there was no mention of poor job performance linked to it. friggin pisses me off....if that guy starts hitting on your boy's girlfriend, he deserves a severe ass kicking.

Deca, while in the system 18 months later is not active. And if it was used for medical purposes in another country than it is legal, not only there but also when you come back. Anabolics do a medical purposes; therefore, making them a totally different animal then pot.

I'm pretty sure the prohormone thing will work but just make sure you get the right one. I'm pretty sure its nor-andro that makes you test positive for decca and not andro.

First, I did not know an employer could single someone out and say we want you to take a drug test, I thought it has to be a random thing.
About the Pro-Hormone thing, I have read that many people have tested positive for AAS when in fact they had only taken Pro-Hormones. I read that in order for this to happen you would have to double or triple the recommend dosage. As a matter of the AAA that they tested positive for was (nandrolone decanate). So your buddy may want to do a little more research on this.
