I believe in God, but am uncertain about Christianity.

The idea that you either subscribe to all the beliefs in our club, or you're doomed to eternal damnation is difficult for me to accept, especially sense there are many older religions.

I can empathize with people who say they believe in god, I see the need for it.

But to put your faith in a man, jesus christ, who says he was a god, is like Tom Cruise putting his faith in the writings of L Ron Hubbard. Its not hard to see where man's will has contrived and contorted religous thought, law, and dogma to serve its own ends.

And let it be known that, if you and your your squirmy, ill-mannered brat sit near me in church and you show no inclination to control him/her, even while s/he tries to climb over me to get to the 50 ft of unused pew to my left, I will call your ass out right then and there in front of everyone! I did it last Sunday and I'll do it again! Praise Jesus!
