I have been lifting for about 3 years 2 of which were straight. I got up to about 195 lbs some of which was fat on the stomach I started doing mma and cut down to 178 can see ab definition and began working out again to put size back on. I have read articles about consumption of protein some experts say too much is bad and others say take a gram per pound of body weight. Im stuck. my diet sucks i dont really have one its more of just eating "healthy" and high protein foods. I usually consume 180 grams a day. Im back up to 183 I want to stay natural but also be lean/big I need help with answering the protein question and possibly help with a guideline as a basis for a new diet. if anyone could help i would appreciate it.
