Okay... but what are they? What chemicals? Why do they give one supposed energy?

Rockstar was originally known for having high levels of Guarana, but has reduced its level of Guarana Seed Extract from 400 mg per 16 oz can to 50 mg while increasing caffeine levels from 150 mg to 160 mg in most markets in 2007.

I had friends that did 5 hour energy and it ended up being one hour energy.

Honestley, I think I'd give someone ECA stack before I'd let them down countless things of those energy drinks. Tell him to add in more carbs, lots more.

I do factory floor work and have for 2 years, it only took me 5-6 months to adjust to my job to where I had energy at home. Then it just took me two-three weeks to adjust to REAL weight lifting and my job. I do my hardest lifting day on the weekend to rest up. It will take time to adjust to it, a good diet and sleep.

But I don't know what he has going on medically so I'm just pretending he is an average person. Hopefully it will just take time to adjust, and up his calories too. He could be tired because he is doing this all on 2500cals. A phsyically hard job, 2500cals will NEVER cut it.

yohimbe rocks. the anxiety sides seem to lessen with repeated use.

That stuff totally didn't agree with me... don't know why. Even in a NYC stack... yet I can pop 200mg eph HCl and go to sleep, lol.

I got excited when I saw "24 replies", then I read this shit. You guys tried though. That's all I can ask for I guess. Bastards. "otc"!!

He just feels all around tired all the time. He needs to feel better and have more energy. Not just something like caffein.

What about the flax? or is this thread too far gone.

I'll just call him and say fuck you, I got nothing.

ok, ok.

1) co-q10 100-200 mg twice a day

2) adrenal support with vitamin C (500-1000 mg time released 2x @ day) and pathotenic acid (vit b-5) 250-500 mg 2 or 3 x @ day (work up to that dose slowly or shit your brains out)

3) l-tyrosine empty stomach 500 mg 2x@day - physical and mental stamina - lots of good human studies

4) creatine (kre-alkalyn loads best for me) - yes creatine. studies showing greatly improved mental/coordination performance on reduced sleep.

I got this off the back of a box of CoCo-Puffs so it must be true

Since the question mentions work, I guess for once "my friend" isn't a euphemism for "me"...

Thanks for the reply. I'll forward this to him. Not sure he'll go for all of it. This is how the conversation went.

He said to me..."So I was at GNC looking for some vitamins or supps to take..."

I said "Woah!!! Try Iherb.com, they're really cheap."

Him: "What should I get from there for energy...blah blah?"

Me: "Ummm, I'll call you back after I ask the coke heads on EF."

He just needs to eat as healthy as possible and begin a workout program, focusing on intense aerobic activity at least 3 times per week. The higher your aerobic fitness level, the more energy you will have. Everything else is shit except for the usual advice such as get enough sleep and avoid too much negative stress.
