Please help with energy related issues.

I couldn't find the diet board, so I'll post this here for now. My good friend needs some otc supps for increased energy. He asked what he could take. I was thinking about EFA's like Flax seed oil or something similar and maybe a multi vitamin and a protein shake. He will be starting to workout but I doubt it will be consistant as he works in construction and has no time or energy when he gets home.

He is also on a lot of meds from multiple longtime ailments he has.

Any info would be great.

Please, no nude pics. thanks.

I recommend cocaine.

Yeah, but GL's buddy needs a longer-acting stim. Coke is too short-acting.

Are there other active isomers of cocaine? That could be a possibility.

Also, methamphetamine or 4-methylaminorex could help.

Whats wrong with key-bumping every 20 minutes?

It's not practical in the bustling work-environment wherein on must work for pushes lasting well over twenty minutes. Clearly, a longer-acting drug would be TCR here. Or perhaps stacking coke with multiple forms of amphetamine.

Ecstasy and Coke?

Would the methydioxy-isomer make working too... umm... something for him? I would personally go with straight meth, EFA's, 3 gallons of dew and coffee with winny at 20mg ED for appetite stimulation. And two grams of test a week, simply 'cause he's asking on this board.

GL, you... err, your friend might need a heart transplant in a couple years with this cycle here, but he'll definitely have lotsa energy 'till then.

put the coca leaves in your lip like chewing tobacco

But coke's so much less potent and dangerous without refining... but coca leaves can certainly be added to this prestigious energy cycle.

Also, a bottle or two of caffeine pills and ephedrine HCl ED should help. Don't exceed four grams of ephedrine a day, though.

And HR can be your source of HCG to prevent testicular atrophy while on this AAS/Meth energy cycle.

I got excited when I saw "24 replies", then I read this shit. You guys tried though. That's all I can ask for I guess. Bastards. "otc"!!

He just feels all around tired all the time. He needs to feel better and have more energy. Not just something like caffein.

What about the flax? or is this thread too far gone.

I'll just call him and say fuck you, I got nothing.

Put him on a balanced diet... Tell him to slowly work into some cario, slowly work in some weight training....

That's the only long term answer.

What the hell.

If he wants something immediately, Cocaine.

change his diet bro ......take multivitamins......drink alot of fresh juces . eat fruit to start off your day....there are many natural things you can do

Is otc supplements like ephedrine and caffeine out of question?

I've told him about ephedrine a while ago, but honestly, his health is so messed up that I'm afraid it would do something to him.

I'll tell him about those 5 hour energy drinks, I guess. Thanks

His diet isn't too bad. He's just taking a lot of meds and working a lot. He is not my life partner.

He's starting cardio and lifting soon, so we'll see how that goes. I don't know about the fruits idea. I've always thought they were too high on the index to be beneficial. I'm a proponent of oatmeal, wheat bread etc... and high protein like chicken and steak, fish in the diet. Unless you're eating a lot of steak, you may not get enough of the EFAs. That was my reasoning. Maybe he should snack on nuts. (not mine though)

Fuck it, energy drinks it is, and hopefully the lifting and cardio will help. Thanks

Personally, I never agreed with the media's fruit diet thing, since it's just fructose.

The concept of "energy drink" is worthless without knowing what drugs or compounds are in such drinks that are purported to give one energy.

I'm a big fan of ephedrine HCl, but it's potential for health risks is a definite concern for anyone.

Sometimes, the side effects of Rx'd meds cannot be fully avoided -- for such a thing, one is best off discussing such with a doctor, nurse, or registered dietician. We can't really help much without being familiar with the pharmacokinetics of the drugs causing his sluggishness, either...

do those 5 Hour Energy Drinks work? i am skeptical.

I have never used one, but I guy I work with (moving company, lots of heavy lifting) said he had good results with a couple.

Okay... but what are they? What chemicals? Why do they give one supposed energy?

Rockstar was originally known for having high levels of Guarana, but has reduced its level of Guarana Seed Extract from 400 mg per 16 oz can to 50 mg while increasing caffeine levels from 150 mg to 160 mg in most markets in 2007.

I had friends that did 5 hour energy and it ended up being one hour energy.

Honestley, I think I'd give someone ECA stack before I'd let them down countless things of those energy drinks. Tell him to add in more carbs, lots more.

I do factory floor work and have for 2 years, it only took me 5-6 months to adjust to my job to where I had energy at home. Then it just took me two-three weeks to adjust to REAL weight lifting and my job. I do my hardest lifting day on the weekend to rest up. It will take time to adjust to it, a good diet and sleep.

But I don't know what he has going on medically so I'm just pretending he is an average person. Hopefully it will just take time to adjust, and up his calories too. He could be tired because he is doing this all on 2500cals. A phsyically hard job, 2500cals will NEVER cut it.

yohimbe rocks. the anxiety sides seem to lessen with repeated use.

That stuff totally didn't agree with me... don't know why. Even in a NYC stack... yet I can pop 200mg eph HCl and go to sleep, lol.

ok, ok.

1) co-q10 100-200 mg twice a day

2) adrenal support with vitamin C (500-1000 mg time released 2x @ day) and pathotenic acid (vit b-5) 250-500 mg 2 or 3 x @ day (work up to that dose slowly or shit your brains out)

3) l-tyrosine empty stomach 500 mg 2x@day - physical and mental stamina - lots of good human studies

4) creatine (kre-alkalyn loads best for me) - yes creatine. studies showing greatly improved mental/coordination performance on reduced sleep.

I got this off the back of a box of CoCo-Puffs so it must be true

Since the question mentions work, I guess for once "my friend" isn't a euphemism for "me"...

Thanks for the reply. I'll forward this to him. Not sure he'll go for all of it. This is how the conversation went.

He said to me..."So I was at GNC looking for some vitamins or supps to take..."

I said "Woah!!! Try Iherb.com, they're really cheap."

Him: "What should I get from there for energy...blah blah?"

Me: "Ummm, I'll call you back after I ask the coke heads on EF."

He just needs to eat as healthy as possible and begin a workout program, focusing on intense aerobic activity at least 3 times per week. The higher your aerobic fitness level, the more energy you will have. Everything else is shit except for the usual advice such as get enough sleep and avoid too much negative stress.
