Please give me input on my Cardio

Ok, Daily
Treadmill only cardio!
Start @
Incline 11 @ Speed 3.5 for 5 minutes.
Incline 9.5 @ Speed 3.5 for 5 minutes.
Incline 8.0 @ Speed 3.5 for 5 minutes.
Incline 6.5 @ Speed 3.5 for 5 minutes.
Incline 5.0 @ Speed 3.5 for 5 minutes.
Incline 3.5 @ Speed 3.5 for 5 minutes.
Incline 5.0 @ Speed 3.5 for 5 minutes.
Incline 6.5 @ Speed 3.5 for 5 minutes.
Incline 5.0 @ Speed 3.5 for 5 minutes.

So its basically 45 minutes, and there is no Breaks.
45 minutes @ Speed 3.5, but the Incline was different for each of the 5 minute intervals.

So what do guys think? should anything be added or Tweaked?
Please feel free to add or minus and revise anything you like.
Should I add "jump rope" or "stair mill"?
 
why are you ramping up and down an incline? that's low incline to begin with.

Why not go with sprint intervals if you want something different?

yeah 11 for 5 minutes ;) then you're going down to 3 - your HR will be low at 3/3.5, not much fat burning cardio at those levels. Consider doing sprint like intervals on the treadmill, you can run for 1 min, walk for 2-3 and repeat. :coffee:

Not sure on the incline...you know how treads are different...but anyway do the stairmill for 20-25 min..then do what your doing for 20-25 min...

keep the incline steady do not ramp it down and go a little faster--i do incline 15 at 4.1 for 60 mins first thing in the morn on empty stomach--6 days a week lost 30 lbs in 11 weeks doing this
 
I agree with Mr. X, do sprint intervals. raising your heart rate and dropping it back again over and over will burn more. Keep incline one level. Try doing the sprints with incline at 11! LOL. That'll get your heart pumping. Increase sprint time each try and decrease "rest" time. So, first try is sprint for 1min, walk 4, sprint 1:30 walk 3, sprint for two, walk for two.
 
if you weigh over 200lbs jumping rope for long periods will play hell on your joints, its my favorite form of cardio to do, but I cant anymore because I get shin splints.
