PLATINUM to search?!?

platinum to search what is going on here why has this happened are we going to have quesirons repeated hundreds of times and valuable board space wasted there should be at least a newbie forum or somethign along those lines....what eh fuck was george thinking is this always about just make an extra buck.....dont get me wrong on that note still feel this place...

There are gonna be more repeated posts then ever.. its going to take up boardspace.. and overall it will use alot of extra bandwith from repeated searches and surfing

Well, I totally agree and am "with" efforts to create revenue, after all this is not a charity.
However I agree that this is NOT the way to do it.
The value of the board has been lowered. The number of BS newbie posts will increase. The vets and experts will spend less time here. The overal quality will drop.
This may increase revemnue short-term, but long-term .... it will greatly lower the valuie and revenue of the board.

It seems like there could atleast be some kind of compromise. Any ideas?
I know that I've posted a couple of repeat questions just because I was unable to find a specific answer with the 5 responses that were displayed. I know I can find the answers on the net, but the reason Im posting on this board on the first place is because I respect the opinions of people posting on this board more than the other fitness BS on the internet.

Agreed. I believe the staff is looking into making changes on this current setup though as they realize this is not the best idea, (don't quote me on that though...)
We had the search available without limit for everybody and we still had a good share of dumb threads. So honestly I dont think this will change anything on this aspect.
