Pinning Speed !

Hello I've seen on some of the IM injecting tutorials they just jab the needle in real quick does any of you guys do this or is it just nice and slow ?
I'm kinda worried that if you hits nerve you've hit it hard where as going in slow you can feel what's going on kinda thing lol

How fast you push the needle in doesn't matter near as much as how fast you push the oil after its in. That is what determines the pain. I prefer to push slowly myself though because of nerves, etc.

I also push pin in slowly and slowly release the oil.

I like to stick it quick, staying relaxed, then inject oil slowly.

I hold needle back from skin and "jab" like a dart so it pierces the skin and goes in about a quarter of an inch , then I push the following 3/4 inch in slow and confident ( no shaking ) and I push the plunger down real slow. Takes me like a min probably to inject a cc.

That's why I like a 25 guage. YOu really can;t do it too fast.

I always thump where I'm pinning to go ahead and make the muscle jump so it don't jump when the needle hits it and I jab it on it. My cousin is a doctor an this is how she showed me my first time works great. Thump it hard and go right in behind the thump pretty quick like your throwing a dart and inject slowly. And putting a heating pad on the site after injection helps the gear to spread and keep from being sore

Pin slow and push slow..
Though I wish I could get the pin in faster sometimes. I need to do the little dart action to break the skin first. Mentally I can't get around it.
I use 25g and very rarely have pip.

Pin slow push slow. I don't dart the needle through the skin. I just touch it to my skin and push through. Glutes aren't a big deal but delts and quads need to be done with care. More nerves, blood vessels ect.....
The first time you pull a pin from your delt and blood shoots literally a foot out of your arm you'll see what I mean .
