Here are a few pics, most people don't think I look terribly different but I needed to do a picture update.

I can see a marked increase in your shoulders and legs. Keep up the good work!

That's not alot of progress for 9 long months, just giving constructive criticism.

How many times a week are you training? How many total sets per bodypart? How many cals are you eating?

look Mate its great to see your pics & you are asking for our opinions. It looks like you may have put on some body size, but your lean muscle mass has not changed greatly. Now is the time to post up your training schedule, your nutritional plan, & your current stats & cycle details if applicable, so that we can maybe give you something to work on for the next 9 months. I am currently training a young man & advising on all of the above & we have increased overall body mass by 25lbs in a period of about 6 months. BF has reduced from 16% to 12% & strength has just gone through the roof. None of us has all the answers but a lot of us have been doing this some years so we got some good ideas.

I was on the 3x5 but I wasn't very consistant and missed 2 months of workouts, so that knocked my progress up a lot.

Now I'm on the 5x5 and I don't have a real set diet, but I'm eating lots of whole grains, chicken, milk and generally just a ton of food in general. I usually eat around 6,000-7,000 calories a day so I'm definitely eating enough, I'm just pretty tall as I'm 6' 5" so any muscle gains won't show up very well on me at least not until I put on a TON of mass.

Edit: My stats

6' 5"
225lbs
17inc Arms
34inc Waist
25inc Quads

Max 5 rep lifts

Bench: 150lbs
Squat: 200lbs
Deadlift: 245lbs
Military Press: 95lbs
Barbell Row: 185lbs

I currently just started Bill Star's 5x5 weight training program, I think it will be good for me.

Your doing OK mate for a tall ecto. If you are eating 6-7K cals ED you should be putting on some size if training with intensity. What is 5x5 program?

This http://www.geocities.com/elitemadcow1/5x5_Program/Linear_5x5.htm That will expain it much better then me, but basically it's doing 5 reps with 5 sets with progressive overload in mind and weekly weight increases.
Thats a very good mass building program although a bit complicated. I like the idea that it only uses heavy compound movements but with that continual repartition, & only one day rest between some of the same exercises, I'm not sure that the body has enough time for recovery. The key to gaining is inceasing weights, forcing the muscles to grow, & sufficient calories to allow them to grow. Good luck. Keep us posted on progress.
