PICS OF ME...8 months of bulking...DAMN I FEEL FAT

For the past 4 months my Chest routine went as follows....

225 2 sets of 12 to warm up.

315 X 10, 8
365 X 5, 5 Sometimes 8, 6

405 X 5, 4 with help to get to 5

Then 455 forced reps of 3 to 5...with help on all of them

This allowed me to get use to the weight and increase reps and weight at each chest day.
 
thanks i'll have to give heavy forced reps a try i've always believed theres no point doing it and it doesn't count as a rep if the spotter even touches the bar with a finger
 
I agree with you. If the spotter puts his fingers on the bar...then do not coun that one(unless you are doing forced reps).

Forced reps are great (if you do not have any joint problems). I love them. It allows my body to get use to the heavier weights. ALso, I am sore as hell for days on end.
 
i wish my joints would allow me to go heavier... my chest doesn't feel as pumped lately becuase my shoulder hurts during bench presses and declines especially. :(

Stay away from what hurts...

Work around it to make it better....Y keep pushing the sore spot...soon it will POP. Ok that sounds perverted. You all know what I mean?

Hey bro,

How old are you? You remind me JUST like myself.....cept I'm an inch shorter and 15 pounds lighter ;)

But still, I have that swollen face look too, it's genetic or something, don't worry about it.

Just curious though, you said training for 13 years, so I figured you must be in your late 20's at least.
