judging by the pics ive just seen(and major props for posting those jewls) i think arnold deserved to win! mentzor dosent have the size to even touch arnold,nor does anyone else on that stage. even though his legs were considerably smaller,and in that pic w/ them from the rear standing relaxed arnolds hamstrings sucked,and back lacked thickness....he still weighed the most,was in very good shape,and from the front,his chest was a showstopper,his peaks were like a perfectly sloped mountain. had abs,serratus,diced up quads,the best traps....and the list goes on. arnold being that big,AND tall at the same time has to be rewarded......oh and his calves were the best in the show. bodybuilding is about muscle,how good does that muscle look(symetry) and what kind of shape is that guy in? just my opinion~The legend

I think Mentzer needed to get over himself. He looked like shit compared to Arnold. Arnie wasn't at his 74 or 75 size, but he still looked like the best one there in those pics. I was expecting Arnold to look like an aids patient, he looks like he only lost 10-15 lbs tops.

yeah I agree, judging by the pics arnold deserved that win, his amazing genetics made up for not having as much size and his experience was a factor too, did you see the peak on that bicep? His shoulders and arms were way bigger than anyone elses, people can talk all they want but saying he didnt deserve to win the 7th mr.O is like not having michael jordan in an all star game, it will never happen!

Well when you see and hear how the audience reacted hearing that arnold was the winner, it's not that obvious. That part is quickly cut in "total rebuild".

Arnold's the man but, I think in those pics Zane looked the best. You can see in that back shot Zane is so much thicker. His abs and legs looked better too. Maybe his biceps, traps and chest were'nt as big but, it's about the total package. He was in better shape.

Arnold's still the one who got me into bodybuilding!

The 80 Olympia was stollen by Arnold and he was in terrible shape. It was a very political move by Weider.
Clearly Mike Mentzer was robbed!

Mentzer didn't have the size??

There were at least three men on stage clearly better than Arnold. Arnold was in terrible shape with NO LEGS AT ALL!

Zane or Mentzer should have won.
