Finally... :D Youre looking great HH...I'd say keep doing what youre doing but I dont know what you're doin'... lol
IMO its going to be all about the diet & cardio... (duh bunny)

Question for the NPC posing, why the side twist, curious, isn't it more straight on these days?

your legs & tush have come up very nicely. :)
Best wishes to you!

Straight on meaning? (confusion takes over)

That's what I was taught last year with my posing coach and took on stage with me.

On the profile pic meaning twisting your torso a little vs just standing straight sideways.

That's where I was saying - if you do the little side twist pose, make eye contact w/ the judges you can THEN settle into a straight facing sideways pose. You can have the twist pose in your arsenal but you better be equipped to do a straight side pose if that's what they call for - facing sideways, hands to the side.

There's no one way you're going to be guaranteed they do - will differ from show to show. Even within the NPC there is very little continuity of judging because it is so localized.

You're welcome.

I was just curious. Personally I think that looks better (with the twist) ...

So whats diet looking like, can you share a bit? Any plans for 6 weeks out or such? Another carb rotation ( I think you did that before ...)

Where do you think you need to improve? if anywhere

I need a lift kit on my butt to get rid of those two lil lines ya see. My delts need to be capped off and my back needs to be wider. Waist needs to come in smaller. Hams need to be bigger and butt smaller. My calves are retarded jacked so they'll prob require the least attention.

Right now I'm eating every 2.5 hours. 4oz tilapia, 1/2 cup brown rice, 1-2 cups brocc. I substitute bison/chicken in for the tilapia.

22 raw almonds for a snack.

Doing cardio first thing in the am and a shake right after. (1 scp in water)

Awwww thanks doll. I've dropped 4.5lbs since the arnold. I must've been in line when God passed out genetics.

As soon as I hit cardio, diet, and training the results start happenin' in days.

i like that shirt idea too.

i typically start off doing increments of 5% every 5 minutes until i'm up to 15% # 3.0mph for a good 30-35 minutes and then i do sprint intervals for the last 30 minutes. walk one minute, sprint one minute @ 7.0-7.5.

That just sucks.

Ok I'm just kidding - - I don't even have to eat the food to gain weight. All I need to do is look at it as I pass by the shelves and it just skips the digestion process and attaches itself to my azz.

I was talking to Muneca the other day about home stuff...and storage came up...
So I said I don't store anything BUT FAT!!! :chomp:

30-35 minutes? wow.
I think it was shadow, mentioned running at 15%. I tried it. Wasn't so bad. I lasted about 35-40.....................seconds, at 6.0 mph, LOL.

OK I officially have to hate you now.....LOL

Looking great!! And I hear ya on eating a dropped almond off the floor!! I don't play either!!

oh yeah, works wonders for the much needed lift kit on my bum area.

ok this is probably tmi...but when i walk it, i can squeeze my butt cheeks and really squeeze all the muscles in my legs.

15% incline....3.0.....for 45 min. you can't possibly imagine how delicious i smell after that. :worried:
Your just suppose to squeeze the not relax them to the point of farting the whole dam 45 minutes.

Yeah......the incline was actually 20 and 7 mph....but that is for intervals.......ramped it back down to 15 degrees and 4 mph for the recovery.

Anyone who wants to maximize fat burning needs to drop steady state cardio and pick up intervals.

Mine only goes to 15!!! and im like sprinting at 6.5 ..

20% incline?

I've never seen one that high - do you know what brand it was, mine needs a new belt.

Are you talking running @ 15% incline then walk for intervals or walk at lower & higher inclines for intervals??

I'm confused......

Running at higher incline and higher speeds......then dropping BOTH the incline AND speed if you need it.

that model isnt the one I have at the gym....the same company might make a lower end machine.....I dont know for sure though

after i read this i tried to keep pushing the incline higher..... :( 15 is the maximus.

i've been doing sprint intervals for 30 minutes @ 7mph. sprint a min, walk a min, sprint a min, walk a min....should i start running up the incline? (i'm going to purposely avoid revisiting this thread for fear of you saying "yes") :worried:

seriously, i'll do it if it'll cut the lard from the backside. :)

I would up the incline too.

I finished off my cardio this morning with some hill intervals - kicked my arse. Instead of increasing speed, I increased incline only (kept speed constant). It was HARD HARD HARD. I was running the whole time (at a 12min mile pace) and minimum incline was always 1 (I always run at 1 to mimic outdoors).

A nice change from increasing speed.

I'll try that when I get healthy, again. (almost there)
