UPDATE:
Skipped a few days of updates cuz ironically i've been feeling a bit depressed lately, which is strange considering where i've gotten in the last 6wks physically, I should be stoked and I am!
Anyway, Chest went really well I was able to put 275 on the hammer strength flat press machine (decided to try it VS the bar / dumbells for once) and it felt amazing. Totally locked in place, Pec isolation. I felt them dying fiber by fiber
Now keep in mind I was barely able to push 185 on that same hammer strength machine a couple months back. That is significant progress in my pressing strength overall and I couldn't be happier.
I'm curling the 110lb straight bar now with ease as well. I can tell my biceps have grown a lot. All my back excercises feel better, more controlled & I feel it has to do with my Bi's catching up a bit.
Legs were awesome yesterday, 225lbs on squats is now officially "light" feeling. I need to add more weight but i'm such a freakin WUSS when it comes to legs! I dunno what my mental issue is with them! Makes me wish so bad I had a training partner to kick my ass a bit on leg day... i'd probably be doing 315 by now. My legs have REALLY come a long way in the past two months as well. For the first time I had to go buy new pants, and when I tried them on they got stuck on my quads, NOT at my waist. Never happened before!!!!
As I stated though i've been fighting depression feelings that come in waves, and are very annoying. I have also been having some of the worst nights sleep in a while lately. Last night was the peak of that. I must have woke up every 15-20 mins. I definitely don't feel "rested" today, but i'll just have to deal with it.
