How much should I charge my niece for the use of my phone?

My sister dropped her and her little sister off until they pick her up at 10:00 pm or so. She has been on the phone constantly since about 30 minutes after they left.

Oh well, I can't get too mad. I remember what it is like being a teeneager. Granted we had the old crank type phones, but still I do remember.

Tell her do do an errand or a chore around the house when she comes over, Then she can use the phone. That should work. The longer the call the bigger the chore.

Are you just "babysitting" her for your sister? Why is she even there? Do you get her gifts at Christmas or birthday? Get her a cell phone or prepaid phone and tell her when those minutes are up... That`s it! No house phone use.

i can think of plenty of things to do with a 14 year old girl from a position of power...after all, whose they gunna believe? you or a bratty 14 year old trying to get her unky in troublE?
