I have phenformin, 25 mg. tabs. They are said to be very similar in action to glucophage, but they are 8 or so times more powerful than glucophage on a mg. for mg. basis. Apparently there is a greater incidence of side effects with phenformin. Apparently some diabetics that used it developed lactic acidosis.
I haven't used them much, but will be adding them to my cycle in two weeks.
I have taken up to 10 per day (250 mg.), but that seemed to make me feel a little sick. I would take 2 with my am pre workout shake, 4 post workout with dextrose followed by another shake, 2 with the next meal, 2 with the next meal.
Was that too much?
I'd like some input as to dosage and anthing else having to do with phenformin. Thanks in advance.
