Personal Ghost Stories

A couple of years ago I saw a little boy standing by the sairs at my dads house. I didn't try to talk to him, I was too freakd out! A few days later I mentioned it and come to find out my brother and cousin had seen him too. WEIRD!

I'd never seen anything supernatural until 3 months ago. One night I woke up *knowing* there was something or someone next to my bed (I was lying on my side, facing the wall). Well, I turned around a saw a pitch black shape (like a man) standing there. Even though it was dark I could make out the outlines, the thing was that black. There wasn't really any fear, just astonishment. I immediately jumped up and attacked it, but the shape disappeared and I went right through it. Then I switched the light on and saw nothing. Of course, I was all alone in the house and didn't sleep much after that.

There might be a scientific explanation for this (like maybe my brain was still partly in sleep mode when I saw the shape) but I believe it really was a ghost.

Shadow people appear to be entities which swallow up matter in their environment to enable manifestation. This includes LIGHT in their given energetic space, which gives them the appearance of a dark, almost 'black-hole' type of appearance.

Maybe I'm an idiot, but I always wanted to see it, I mean how unique of an experience would that be? Call it a morbid curiousity...

No way man. I WISH i had some weird shit like that happen to me.

BTW, what are shadow people? Could the thing I saw be one of them?

Many people who have ghostly experiences claim to see something they refer to as "moving shadows". They aren't really shadows but are more or less moving voids, or dark areas. I worked for five years in a haunted restaurant and never got to actually "see" anything, but the owner had seen what I described above on several occasions. Years ago, I was hiking in the NC mountains when I came upon an old man fly fishing in a stream. My collie who was with me started to act real strange and would not walk forward. She kept wimpering and whining, tring to turn around and go back where we came. I turned around to calm her down and when I turned back around the man was gone. My dog still would not go up to the area where the man was, she made me walk a long loop around there. When I got past, I tied my dog to a tree and went back, and there was no footprints or anything to suggest that a person had been fishing there.

I took a #2 one time and I looked to inspect my work and the poop wasn't there. Then I wiped and there was nothing on the toilet paper.

Prettty scary.

Fuck... you beat me to it.

I see those a lot. Sometimes when I am leaving a room in my house a strange figure will just be standing there in the door looking right back at me. It will stay there for a second then vanish.

It has a really annoying since of humor. Sometimes I will see dark arms coming out from under my bed. Scared the shit out of me so many times.

One day I just thought to myself "do I really care if it gets me? NO" I don't think it is willing and/or able to really hurt me, it just wants to fuck with me or something, so I am not scared of it anymore. I don't know who or what it is and I don't care a great deal anymore. I just expect it to be there.

The worst thing it ever did was pulling at the sheets a few years ago. I looked up and saw a huge dark figure with bright white eyes. I looked at it for a while and it did not disapear quickly like it normaly does. It sort of screamed/howled at me. Not out loud but in my mind. I pulled the sheets over my head and could not fall asleep.
