People wear your seatbelts!!! A friend just died in car accident

He was my moms best friend son and was just about to go into the army. He was running around not sleeping much because he trying to do a lot b4 he left. I won't get into the gruesome details but he fell asleep at the wheel, rolled his car and died instantly. They say if he had his belt on he probably would have lived. It's just tradegic too have a life cut too short when it didn't have to be.

i have one rule whenever someone drives with me....always wear a seatbelt......dude, thats tragic...last year, two of my childfriends died in car accidents and one fell asleep behind the wheel....its hard

it IS a requirement legally in most (if not all) states..if you get pulled over they will ticket you if you dont have your seatbelt on.

i know in ohio they can pull you over even if you're going the speed limit if they see in your car and you dont have it on..

Thanks everyone. I don't know about every state but in here GA it is the law, but it's just a $65 ticket if you don't have it on. And in Connecticut where I'm from and where the accident happened it's the law too.

It's also a law in TN...I think the fine is minimum $100 bucks.
