Hands on cardio like that will kick your CNS's ass more than any treadmill, elyptical or AMT ever dreamed of.
I have a rear back-hoe tire for my son but its only 250 lb or so. I thought about flipping it up hill. Or rolling it up hill.
I'd like to get a tire more in the 500 lb range.
Sledgehammer hitting a big tire is a real killer for cardio too.
I have a few tires ranging from 250 to around 1000lbs and that is the most intense workout ever flipping a 500 pound tire around your yard until you can't lift it anymore I threw up doing that
in his case if he was in a powerlifting competition or strongman he would need a shitload of conditioning to survive that. i judge PL competitions and you would be surprised how many competitors blow their wads on their first lifts and leave nothing for their 2nd and 3rd.. or worse blow it all on their claps and then have nothing left for their C&J's. the ones that have their conditioning can put in 6 solid lifts.. the ones that don't usually get in 1 or 2.. or bust out.
strongmen have tremendous conditioning which goes back to my original point.. people who watch it on tv think its all about who is toughest .. same with WWE.. those guys have tremendous mental, muscle, and overall conditioning. throwing each other around for 10 minutes straight with little rest is amazing
exactly.. guys I'm not talking about just cardio conditioning.. i'm talking about muscle conditioning. a newb who has been lifting for 2 months just doesn't have it yet. and I'm talking about the mental conditioning as well. they all go hand in hand.
