and i have the advice of a couple of lawyers (one of whom did public legal aid for aborigines for 5-6 years) and former owners of a security company (read: in court permanently for exactly this sort of thing)

the criminal case itself is part of the punishment. easy $10k will go on legal fees fighting it before they get convicted anyway. theyre stupid people, theyll never ever plead guilty, just like the last guy...before he spent a few grand and i plonked the video surveillance in front of his face. what was that? it wasnt you? mitigating circumstances? he started the fight? lol. guilty.

for the last bloody time i was not "knocked the fugg out"

but yes, a guy had a psychotic episode (really. trust the pharmacist to get started on by the guys who fucked their brains up with amphetamines) and hit me out of the blue. i was frothing. he used to average 2 brawls a week or so (really) but no one would take him to court because they knew that even with a conviction, he'd never go to jail and theyd have to deal with his bullshit afterwards, what with the threats etc etc. anyway, i was willing to shoot him on the spot (really. we go hunting in similar areas, and if he twitched wrong, i would have shot him. scary when you think about it) and didnt give a shit one way or the other, took him to court, and roasted him. now that the way has been made clear, 3 more suits have been filed against him. his days of freedom are a tad limited, so he's either going into the big house for a while, or running away to greece (until they implement an extradition policy...in which case, he'll do even more time)

the latest guy (current) is a complete tosser who i know for a fact has a couple of rather dangerous people after him for similar incidents to mine (ie its not his first cheap nasty hit - and the guys im talking about are basically jail fodder, its not like they care much about, well...anything) as well as for vandalising a car, and his backup (older brother) is leaving for the states shortly...and so he is going to find himself in a very nasty way shortly.

anyway as for my lifestyle choices, ive said it over and over - its part and parcel of living in a mining/military town overpopulated with men and aborigines. its a cultural thing. and yes, im leaving
