Columbus is actually going to be big in the next 10 years IMO.....there's always ohio state there, but there's more things moving in. But yeah, it's still ohio.....

you are divorced from him? I ask because I don't want to trash on the place if you're still married to him. I mean, if he was anything like the typical person there.....I can see why you're divorced. Was he hardcore christian? Most there are, insufferably so........bible literalists.

No we're divorced......trash all you'd like....No they aren't bible thumpers but Italian....like off the boat....

My 1st impression of the place is after a 7+ hour drive I hit the edge of town & subsequently get followed by the police from the town line alllllll the way to my former-in-laws house......Guess they never saw a Mercedes before....

Depends what part of PA....it's weird b/c PA is drastically different just thirty miles apart! Philly can be shitloads of fun, Manayunk! Everywhere between Philly and Pittsburgh is like kentucky (except State College which is just insane!) And if you want some real excitement, head over to Camden, right across the Walt Whitman

DON'T EVER EVER EVER go to Camden unless you want to get shot.....

Funny you say that, I grew up and now live in Pennsylvania, we lived in Maryland for 2 years. Love them both, PA may be boring but it's a great place to live and grow up and raise a family!

There's very few places like it...it's a city (40,000 students) all revolving around 18-24 year olds....I traveled to a lot of schools for collegiate athletics and found none better set up for partying....everything is within a two mile radius!

i worked in new castle for a couple of years. . .lived in hermitage, just up the road. . .small world :)

oh, btw, "boring" is just fine for me. . .one of the reasons that i moved back to the mountains of nc pa was to escape all the damn "excitement" of the city. . .sat in traffic for 10 damn years in pgh. . .don't miss that shit at all

happy new year to you all!

Camden was recently the murder capital of America, not sure if it retained it's title in 2006.
