Peck went pop

I am not sure but I think I strained or tore my peck near the inside of my upper right rm. The sensation was like a pop but no noise per se. I instantly felt pain like an electrical shock down my arm and some soreness.

I was on some heavy weight and did not give myself enough of a break inbetween workouts. A couple of questions bros: is my diet lacking something fundemental that I would tear something? Or, is it just a matter of not resting enough?

Would HGH or HGH supplements help issues like this as far as recovery?
