PBR orb.... need some advice !!!

I need to buy a bike to get this out of my blood.......... thing is If I buy the bike and then after summer decide that I do not want to ride anymore, I do not want to lose a shitload of money.

So I am looking at a used Honda CBR 600 F4i with about 10,000 or 20,000 Kilometer's for about $7,000 CDN. It is a popular bike that should sell easy, so my question is can I do this and not be screwed If i decide to sell my bike if I need the money ?

the CBR F4i is extremely popular and always in high demand....they are an excellent all -around HP sportbike....you will have zero problems getting rid of it, if you do not like riding or other circumstances come into play...this bike is a good choice. re-sale is excellent...

what is it like?....its different for all riders...mine is my GF. she's my baby. i risk my life on her everytime i ride. its my rush, and my passion.
to others a bike means transportation, fuel economy...to some its their livelyhood...some just a hobby... some a social setting...to each his own...

F4i seems more comfortable than the RR. My friend traded his f4i in on a cbr 1000 and says he wish he still had the f4i.

yes...my CBR 1000RR is a Hardcore race bike...even compared to the top other 3...Yamaha is a close second and Kawaii being the 3rd most raced out in positioning....

How bad is it for the bike to put on one of those power commander things.. It takes off the rev limiter.. Right now I have a 02 r1 with a full pipe and a cbr 954 with the same mod.. Im going to be getting rid of one bike.. What do you think would be better to hold on to? Also, is the power commander mod that bad?

My Honda seems faster than my R1 dont know why though.. I know it shouldnt be...

You need it to be loaded with the correct map if you have an aftermarket exhaust.

WHen i Hopped on my buddies gsxr with the power commander I couldnt hit the redline.. It just seemed to "cough" when my bike would bang off the redline..

I have a PCIII on my bike and its mapped for the Jardine Race version...i have had several riders ride my bike including the mechanic from HONDA...they were all amazed by the power and speed of this particular bike...these comments were un-solicited as i was thinking of seeling it to get the 06 CBR 1000RR...even tho mine is new. i had a pro ride my bike without the mods- he liked it alot but said it was under-powered...not so with the Mods...she is a freight train to say the least...

I had a 954RR...an 02 that i bought in 03...this bike does everything well. it is not exceptional, but it does everything well...it is the bike of choice for stunt riders...i didnt even advertise it, it sold to the first guy who looked at it...the motor pulls very hard and is "pipey"- meaning quick to get into the powerband...its a solid machine all around- light and nimble. IMO- i would sell the R1 if you can... due to the radical upgrades and changes made to the newer models. it is no longer a bike of choice really except as an entry level racer, or someone who doesnt want to spend alot of money to ride an HP bike on the street...it did have its time and ruled for awhile...but the newer R1's are totally insane and you would be comparing apples to oranges....
