Reading your ramble cracks me up. I hate speaking intelligently on the EF boards because most of the libs won't take time to read it, and frankly I have better things to do than convince a bunch of hard headed democrats who yell the typical liberal rants. I guess I'll try!
The basis of all these arguments rests in the two-facedness of the leftist anti-war position. Clinton is your liberal hero, hailed for his supposed successes of the economy and for his 'amiable' foreign policies. However, Clinton's military sorties give falsehood to the ideal of a peaceful Democratic party... The ad hominem attacks on Bush will never cease with you libs, and to be frank, he is not the ideal President I dreamt of during his campaign. However, there are many things about Bush that I find noteworthy, especially when compared to Clinton – he is free from the dissolute image that stained Clinton's presidency and distracted everyone in the nation from, well, Osama Bin Laden and pretty much everything else. When someone attacks Bush I defend my primary choice candidate, and if Bush had kept his campaign promises I would be much more justified in doing so. In any case, libs today spend way too much time attacking Bush and way too little trying to enlighten people why he's may be wrong about certain things. And yet when you compare Bush to Clinton, Bush's estimated 200k Iraqi deaths due to malnutrition compared to Clinton's near million, Bush's direct Iraqi invasion compared to Clinton's eight years of bombing raids and stalls, Bush doesn't come up short (don't get too excited, AAP. We're not talking about dick size). Sure, I'll agree, both men appear to have made shitty decisions regarding the Iraqi situation..
To libs, being against the war is about stopping Bush and diverting attention and funding back to our fat and bloated welfare programs of the our country, kind of like the programs that feed people like AAP. It's about opposing the use of force that libs don't agree with (Iraq, Somalia) so the gov can use the force they DO agree with (Darfur). To me, being against the war is about being opposed to America and all her trimmings because I know that it will only ever make things worse. Libs couldn't convince me not to support this war because their reasons are unfilled and paper thin. For those of them who are truly ethical or care about making a difference I urge them to learn about the failures of the country, and how people can work together to meet each of our individual goals.
I guess when you become a lawyer, all the aura and awe of the law and politics just kind of melts away and turns into words, word, words. My apologies for sounding like a fat high school kid.
As far as your accusations about my character. I have given AAP ample opportunity to disprove my claims. He has access to my IP hits, so then of course he would have the same with my credit card information. I have given him written permission to search my name and figure out who I 'really' am. His refusal to do so is an obvious indication to everyone that he's already been disproved, yet afraid to admit defeat. Sound familiar?
