Pain Med Question

My brother hurt his lower back real bad(doing some heavy deadlifts), well to make a lonfg story short, a friend of his who he gets most of his gear from, gave him some pills for pain that I have never seen before and was wondering if anyone out there has a clue what they are before he takes it(my bro trusts his source so never questioned him on what exactally they pills are, stupid I now), the pills are for pain, probably morfine or condine based I am guessing. They are small round tablets, with a big M on the front, the color is a beige color or close to that color anyway. I have looked on the web and in my books at home on meds, but could not find a match, again it has a M ingraved in the front of each pill, there little bigger than a oxycontin, round, same color as a oxycontin 40mg pill(I gues that beige color, I am not great with colors), if any of you guys have a clue, let me know, I don't want him taking something that will hurt him. I am gussing Morphine due to the M on the tablet, but not sure, and I have searches the internet all day, otherwise I would not bother you guys on this, thanks in advance.

Why doesn´t he call his source and asks? Shouldn´t be a problem, if the source is a good guy.

This is where I identify all my little oddball pills. But there needs to be some sort of lettering or numering on it, besides just the "M", it's an imprint search

Thats the problem, his source got the pain meds for himself 2 years ago and forgets exacatly what the are, except they work, but that is not good enoug for me, I would want to know exactly the name and dose of the med I am taking, thats why I am trying to do so me research, I called his sourch today, and he forgets if it codine, morphine, ect, he says he got them from a hospital after a bike addicent

they are morphine bro. Kind of brown/beige... should have number on it too though.
