We just made them fill sand bags, changed that shit in a hurry. Then you get on their FB page and everyone back home thinks they're fuckin first force.

And yes, most 03s are borderline autistic. More than a few times I regretted not going 08 or some other combat related field. I loved being in the shit, but being surrounded by grown men who all argued over who was the best highschool football player, at least until they blew out their knee of course...

I always tried to explain to my guys the difference between rate and rank. Just because you out rank someone doesn't necessarily mean you out rate them.
Example. A Sgt can be boot to a Lcpl if the Lcpl has more deployments, ribbons, been busted down, time in service ect... Just cause they're a lower rank doesn't mean they owe you shit. Yes they will still address you by your proper rank but when you get a big head and get sideways on them they will not take it and most likely lash back.
A butter bar straight from OCS is a boot to everyone unless they are a mustang (has time as enlisted first).
At the other guy. I play on Xbox and hell no I will not change to battle field. I played a few time and it sucks. Only cool part is you can fly shit and knock down trees.
yeah our sgt armoror got a dwi and busted down to a pfc, and two weeks later we had a boot ass lance try to talk shit to him and ended up getting thrashed lol

Speaking of WO. I was walking one day over by the S-4 when I seen a Marine standing there. I looked at his collar to see what was there and seen it was smooth. Or so I thought. I get closer and closer until we're within acknowledgment distance and I give him the usual you're under me "Rah" then he turns and I see a little black bomb. He turns more and I see some shine. He was a CWO-5 Gunner. Lol first time I ever seen one. His name was Gunner Vitalle.
One of my buddies was a captain and he claimed to be a Lcpl trapped in a captains body lol he hated it. He was the rifle platoon commander.
Yeah they are fuckin awesome. I talked to one I had to get some paperwork from and ended up talking to the dude for like an hour. They know so much fucking shit bro it's insane.
I heard (probably bullshit) that there is only like 20 of them in the.Corps. I never thought to check if that was true, just remembered hearing that just now.

Crazy. I heard the same thing lol you have to be the master of your trade or some shit to be a gunner. I've only ever seen one in four years so the odds of it being BS are slim.
