Package Delivery

I placed an international order recently and had it shipped to my UPS box. It was sent express mail. USPS left a notice saying that I have to go to the post office to get the package. I don't know what the deal is. Any advice?

You guys are so friggin paranoid..Its normal procedure, and yes you will probably have to sign the slip. If they were going to nail you, your door would have been knocked on by customs already..

this is not necessarily true at all......bro, i would talk to some people if it's a shitload of gear you're about to pick up. They can't come knock on your door until they've proved you've taken possession of the gear. At the same time....they can't wait forever outside the p.o for you to come pick it up. If the amount you're picking up is only "personal use" amounts....and those are different from state to state....I'd say go pick it up...it's the risk of the game.

I'm paranoid, but I would still sign. I say that from experience as I have had to sign for packages as part of normal procedure. Never to a P.O. box, just my house.

They wont wait forever, trust me.. And if your name is on the package, than you can bet your ass they will be at your front door, probably with a search warrant. They are not stupid.. What are your going to tell them, you didnt order anything, and it must be a mistake??
