Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below i recently came across a site that sells adult website. they have different packages where you can pay a monthly fee or pay a one time fee. They basically sell you the website and do EVERYTHING involved with running it. They deal with all sales and everything. All you have to do is promote it. If the advertising was right, could this be a successful side job? They pay 50% on every membership for every month. Anyone have good experience with this or am i wasting my time? thanks

If they're making money -- they wouldn't need your money.
Bet ya they sign on 10 schmucks a month. That's $3,000 profit right there. And there's no responsibiilty for them to do anything.

(btw: I like the "you do the advertising yourself" part. That's like 90% of the cost and work in any adult site!).

If you're not willing to put in all this extra money in it also -- you'll get nowhere. $300 is just the start.
Not to mention: Most adult sites are spawned off as 25 to 50 sites with different urls. Easier to get into search rankings.
Do some research bro. There's a adult webmaster's board/forum somewhere -- i forget the name of it. Maybe someone has it handy. It's like : www.getfucked.com or something crass like that.
btw: 90% of adult websites only get like 200 hits a month. They don't tell you those stats.
If you wanna throw a few hundred in to test it and learn the blind way -- go ahead.
If you want to make money, you should do the same thing they're doing. Sell off "your" site to others for $200.
