Actually not exactly true Azul. DNP is what's known as an oxidative uncoupler. Basically it prevents your cells from going through the krebs cycle, so they can't utilize carbohydrates to make ATP anymore. So the body responds by going into ketosis basically, it produces ketone-bodies which convert fats into an intermediary that can still produce ATP. So your body gets almost all of it's daily caloric needs from stored fat instead of carbs, and since it can't use the carbs, it dumps them off as heat. This is why you get so much hotter on DNP if you eat more carbs. DNP doesn't make your body use muscle or fat indiscriminantly. However, since your body can't use carbs at this point, and you're losing weight quite rapidly, your body will usually tend to sacrifice some muscle as well as fat, even though fat is by far the preferred source of energy, protein is the last thing your body uses for energy. After a cycle though, you're already going catabolic, and trying to cut carbs and run DNP is just not a good idea. I agree on that point, DNP post-cycle not good... do it well after you've recovered, or while still on cycle.
