I found throughout the years that if I started HCG/Clomid towards the end of my cycle overlapping 3-5 days, I was able to retain more muscle gained and avoided less of a crash.
Also if I tapered from a long acting to a short acting AS like winny, it allowed me to start the therapy at the time when the long acting AS was out of my system and used the winny to "phase into" clomid/hcg easier, more muscle was retaiend and less of a crash.
These are just my experiences and what worked for me.
