Order from UPS...

Big Andy tell me again what is the problem I am a ups supervisor and may be able to help you out.

They will try and deliver the package up to 3 times then they have to pick it up at the ups center located on the yellow slip if they do not pick it up it will go back to sender.
Is the package over 100lbs?

Right, I recieve lots of ups packages , if they miss you a note is left saying they will attenpt another delivery on said date. After 3 failed attempts the package will be returned.
They have an electronic note pad where you sign this confirms the package was delivered to the right addy.

The problem is not with UPS, it's this idiot pothead I relied on to order and receive a package for me. My problem is I can't get a straight answer from him, either because he is an idiot or he is lying to me.

I'm trying to find out how UPS typically operates to find out exactly what is going on.

So far here are the facts

1-There's no way the package is 100lbs and up
2-I know he received some kind of delivery slip on June 14th. (I learned about it today)

I'm worried they will send it back. I'm asking how long they typically wait between the deliveries and how long they wait after 3 failed delivery attempts before they ship back to sender.

If you have a an idea of the time frame I would appreciate an answer.

Thanks

If the delivery is to a house or condo with a door reasonably obscured to walkby traffic they will leave it, unless the sender required a signature. Otherwise they will make delivery attempts on three consecutive business days. On the 4th day you can count on it going back to the sender; they are actually quite efficient behind the scenes. If you have the tracking number you can call them and say I want to come pick it up at the location. I worked there in college.

There's one more option. If you call UPS before the third attempt to deliver at the number in the note, you can ask them to let the package in their location so you can go and pick it up. That will stop the return process.

UPS will leave it at your house. They leave it at my house then my fucking Dog will get a hold of it an tear the package up.
