Arnold had a different theory. He said that people who work out first thing in the morning make going to the gym and staying in shape a PRIORITY. People who go late in the day or at night tend to drop off over the years because they get tired and start blowing off workouts.
I tried the morning thing. It didnt work. I even put a bottle of hydrocut next to the bed and then would set my alarm wake up and take one then go bakc to sleep. Once it hit me I would get up. The mornings just didnt work. I lacked motivation and didnt get the same kinda work out I do in the evening.
i used to get crappy workouts in the am.. now i just make sure i get some good sleep and then eat a bagel and take some whey 1 hr b4 the workout.. eca if necessary but i try to avoid that...
slin users might benefit from am workouts by having more meals after the workout to get nutrients into the cells.. but it might not be a big deal either way..
either way when your in the gym you have to give 100% dont just go through the motions..
I have to work out at night because I work from like 7am to 6:30pm, then I eat and rest a little.
I get myself psyched up all day about it and by the time I get to the gym I'm ready to rip somebody's head off.
The only problem is trying to sleep after that...I need melatonin most days.
if im in the gym at 6AM, i always have more energy for everything else the whole day, and just feel better about myself like im really making steps to improve my physique. It also gives me an excuse to go to class in gym clothes with a syringe sticking out of one of my glutes
