I'd like to chime in if I may.
1st as a sufferer of chronic pain and paraplegic from multiple gun shot wounds from having served my country. I am prescribed several opiates and YES long term use WILL suppress your T count.
With that said i'm actually on TRT at 200mg test cyp weekly. Now as for the combo you'll be fine. At least from my MD's perspective.
However, I'm also a licensed therapist with a doctorate and can tell you pain meds when prescribed and dosed correctly are meant to take the "edge" off no more no less. Hence the term "chronic pain". This means there isn't a day that goes by I'm not suffering to some degree.
Yes, life sucks at times I won't lie. But I get up everyday endure to the best of my ability and push forward. In fact, I often have to take time off from the weights to allow my body adequate time to rest but never do I miss work, I will uphold the Ranger Creed I swore an oath to and set an example even for those who know nothing of what I endure daily. I do this for my fellow brothers sake who did not make it back and deserve no less.
You may not have this level of inspiration but abusing pain meds or illicit drugs IS NOT the route to go. You are self medicating and need help. Get some and you will see incredible improvements in the quality of your life and of course your training.
Now to everyone else. Yes this may have been a stupid question to some of you but let me suggest backing off some on posters like this and look past their poor choices and offer more empathetic comments instead of bashing him. People come here for support and many of you are "seasoned" posters and or players in this world. Lead by example and set the path.. Just my 2cc's.
