Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below ive fallen victim to drug addiction. ive been on anywhere from 30-60 mg of oxycodone aout 5 days a week for the last 2 1/2 months. i started n/a meetings last week for the first time. either way, i received a letter in the mail for a civil service test i had taken to become a deputy sheriff and i passed and now am on a list of eligibility. within a week i will probably have to take a urine test. the last time i took opiates was a day and a half ago and i will not be taking anymore. how long will it take for the opiates to flush from my system? ive been drinking more than a gallon of water a day and i lift almost everyday and do cardio. thank you for responses. and i understand im addicted, please do not tell me things such as "the drug test is the least of you worries, you need to get over your addiction first". not to be mean, but i understand that for a fact. i just need some info on a urine test. thanks again.

I know where your coming from bro. opiate addiction is tough to get through. Consider yourself lucky you didn't move on to oxycontin and then heroin. Opiates don't stay in your system for too long 3-6 days. But to be extra cautious I would buy some fake urine or something if your worried about failing. Or just go to the doctors and get a prescription. I heard this stuff called minuteman works, poor some powder in water, it will heat it to 98 degrees and everything. But if you got plenty of time, just drink plenty of fluids. I know this isn't what your wanting to hear, but I would nip this little habit before it gets worse. Trust me. I've been where you were once. started with vicodins, then perks, and then oxy's. Worst fuckin drug out there and ruined many relationships. Either stop hanging out with the people that enable you or get help with support groups and so forth.
thanks for the reply. i was doin oxycontin as well up to 50 mg a day. somedays it would be perc 30s. some it might have been vics. either way it messed me up, made me not care about anything but tryin to find ways to get shit everyday. so im done and ive told everyone close to me about my prob and started attending n/a. i hope i dont relapse or fuck up. im just not a social person and ive always had tons of anxiety and it seemed opiates helped, but fucked me up too.

ya its a tough cycle to get out of. and relapse occurs in alot of people. Sadly only a few stay out once they get out. if you are worried about relapsing or just can't stop craving it... I would google a psychriatrist that can prescribe seboxone. its expensive but worth it cuz it will kill cravings, withdrawls and won't allow you to take any opiate while on because it will send you into immediate withdrawls. good luck bro

here is how it works:
first 3 days Horrid, depressed, pain,
4th the day the worst as your body starts trying to level out
5th day you body starts breaking the spell of that evil garbage
you start leveling out
6th and 7th day you come out of the evil dark and never EVER go back
The biggest thing you did that will help if you told your loved ones the truth, tell them the storm is almost over and thank them for being there. Also dont be afraid to tell your boss if its affecting you work

as omega said, you'll be fine after that first week. If you can make it through the week without anymore opiates, then bro you can do anything. really because that is some tough shit.

and leaves you with feeling of being in Hell while still being alive
all good is GONE, all happiness, pain that you have is amplified mental and physical
the trick is to stay calm and endure till the spell is broken pray if you have too for help
and when you come out NEVER do it again EVER

I lost the only girl i have ever loved because I was strung out. not a day goes by that i don't think about it and regret it but its life. So keep us posted how your doing k?

you can pass a drug test in 1-2 days but some people take longer depends on the person. drink a gallon of water an hour before test and piss a few times before u go. suboxone is undetectable in drug tests unless specifically tested for which noone does so you can use that to get off the oc's
