I know I worry too much Ironmaster, BUT i am wondering, it has been almost 2.5 hours since I shot the humalog (6iu) and I had 50g of carbs immediately after and 80g of protein, then 50 minutes later I had 2 cups of brown rice and 2 tins of tuna (75g of protein). So, I am curious as to whether i need more carbs before I go to bed at 12 or thereabouts. Whatcha think? I am just concerned because there is no monitoring once I fall asleep. :) Or can I just slam back another 75g of protein?

Come on guys, I'm leaving a letter before I go to bed that says that should I never wake up that it is the fault of the lazy fuckers on Elite Fitness for not replying to my thread. So there.

i would say you are fine bro, 6 iu's and you have taken in plenty of carbs. I'm using humalog right now, for my third time, i've only had one scare, that was a year or so ago. I took 10 iu's and ate ample carbs and protein, fell asleep about 1 hour after taking it, but i had eaten, i woke up an hour later and thought i was dying, i ate everything in the house, it was scary. But 2.5 hours and i'd say you are completely in the clear. My general rule now is one hour after finishing my meals with humalog before sleeping.

So you are saying that your body woke you up because of the low-carb danger? That is a relief cause i was afraid you'd just keep sleeping and maybe slip into a coma or something.

the first day i took my log i fell asleep right after by accident and woke up about an hour later with a massive appetite. now my prob is staying awake in class after i take it. i can hardly stay awake when not using slin
