one leg is smaller than the other
About 2 yrs ago I had a knee reconstruction surgery on my left knee. Ever since then I haven't worked out as much as I did before. Anyone who has that surgery or any other surgery that is a result of injury knows it isn't always easy to get back on the saddle. Now I have moved past that and am ready to jump back on. Lately I have been do spinning classes 5xs a week in the morning to help me get back into shape. I feel like my knee is strong enough to start lifting weights to help build the musles in my left leg up since the atriphy took a lot of it away, but I still want to workout my right leg as well. I wanted to know how exactly I should go about doing this. Should I do more sets on my left leg than on my right. For example, if I am doing the leg press should I do 4 sets of 12 on the left and 2-3 sets of 12 on the right. Or should I do something different? I think I have about a 1/2 in. difference from my left and right and in some places it is 1 in. Any advice form y'all would appreciated. Thanks.
