Once you have package - where to open?

This is a ridiculous thread. Anyone else think this is funny?

I think its ridiculous how long its been going and how many people post useless non-helpfull things on it, say how stupid it is, or try to be funny. But then again, this is the internet, its impossible to underestimate the quality of discussion on it.

a friend--for some reason got the pink slip from post officesaying package needed to be signed for--i went with him to post office and he signed for it acted stupid left it on counter took a package of air from me walked out front door and i went out side door ---------no prob-no cops either lol --and we thought we were being cool though

Well If They Opened The Package To Put A Tracking Bug In It ,then They Know Whats In The Package For Sure !!!! You Can Always Open It In A Underground Parking Lot Where You Cant Get A Cell Phone Signal ,if You See A Tracking Bug Just Leave It Some Where Down In The Lot Where No One Will Find It .and Clean Your Prints Off Of It. No Signal No Bust ...

Drop it in the pool then open it.

Geesh. Doesn't anyone watch gangster flicks anymore other than the Sopranos?

the cops come anyway...even if they don't get the signal. You think they're going to huddle around the corner of your house for days waiting for you to open the package? The signal thing is just a gimmick.....if they don't get the signal they assume it failed and come anyway. The signal is only so that they can rush the house as soon as you open the package......the feeling is that it's best to get the guy while he's in that euphoric child-like christmas morning state and will be caught off guard when his front door is mauled.
Street surveillance is the key IMO. You've got to get some of your boys out walking around....who know the neighborhood REAL well and can spot shady looking vehicles that show up coincidentally right around the time the mailman does. But that's just my opinion.
