ON cycle...OFF days

While you guys are on cycle, do you guys do any small/light exercises or workouts at home? or any other kind of things to help your body and muscles on the off days from the gym.
 
I take it easy as well. If it's an off day, I do nothing other than the diet part.
 
If you're hitting it hard, yes. An off day is a day off! But I've been leaning lately toward an old school approach of supplementing training with other exercise -- stretching, contracting, running, etc -- nothing specific, just remaining active and giving the body the signal to stay in fighting shape.
 
on some off days i like to hit the bag or the floor to ceiling ball out the back but thats it
 
I agree with Nelson.....on my day off I don't just sit at home and watch the tube....i try to do some type of exercise...even on my off day. It usually turns out to be a run or a swim, but i usually have to end up holding myself back because I have to remind myself that i'm supposed to be "off" today....many times my off day 2 mile run turned into a 5 mile run from hell!
 
How many off days do you guys usually do. Ive altered my routine since Ive been on, but I want to make sure to let my muscles rest and grow, otherwise Ill be working out every day since I have everything in my apartment. Right now I am working out 5-6 days a week. Off day generally Sunday when I play football, and maybe one day during the week when I have a softball game.
