I am very much hoping that this is the year that someone dethrones Ronnie of the title. I don't really care for Cutler winning, although I think his mass is quite impressive. I would like to see someone like Gunter or Dexter be recognized.
Any thoughts on what the outcome will be?
 
I agree with you on Coleman being out of there. But, I think that it will go to Cutler. He hasn't been second for so many years for no reason. He does have impressive mass I think as well. I hope he gets it this year. It is definitely his dream as well.
 
Ronnie will win. Cutler will come in second unless he comes in soft, then Dexter will take it. Gunter doesn't have the structure to beat Ronnie.

I would like to see Dexter take it, but I don't think it will happen.

I love the Blade.....I think he's the most proportionate competitor there......just not big enough.. :p
 
Perhaps they should be looking at proportion as well as mass.
I know they say they do but look at colemans gut the last 2 years.
Distended to all hell.
I would like to see guys like Ray, Priest, and Blade get their dues.
 
will "the world" harris....haha i train with him at golds and would love to see him do well...but i definatly know what he is up against....i would love to see anyone beat ronnie
 
ronnie wont lose until he quits, thats all there is to it. When he hits a back double bi and flexes those glutes and hamstrings...seals the deal everytime, no one can come close

Couldn't have said it any better myself..

Until someone creates a growth hormone with an enanthate ester Big Ron will be king. It is one of the most impressive runs in all of sports. There are just so many variables to bodybuilding and for one individual to come in looking the way he does EVERY SINGLE TIME, to me, is truly amazing and deserves my upmost respect. To most of us Big Ron's physique is like an asymptote.. It's a direction we can go in but never reach.

We can all just lean back on the genetics excuse to justify why we're not that big or why no one else can reach his physical state, but the bottomline is that that motherfucker is a fucking freak of nature because he busts his god damn ass in the gym. Despite his voice, watching his video motivates me more than anything on this earth..

You know, it also pissed me off when someone in here put up a thread about what a 'fuckshit' Big Ron is.. Man, who the fuck are you to say something about someone you saw for 5 lousy minutes? You'd be pissy too if everyone hated you for being 'THE MAN.' You have no idea the shit he puts up with on a daily basis. Shit, not to mention he's probably on over a gram of test, some anadrol and god knows what else. His blood pressure was through the roof and he probably just wanted to go home and lay down because the growth was making him tired and cranky..

I'll bet if you would have shook his hand, looked him dead in the eye and said something like "Hi Ronnie. Man, I just wanted to say that you have the most amazing physique ever. I know it's easy for everyone to hate you because you are dominating your sport, but I just wanted to say that I admire you all your accomplishments. What you're doing is one of the greatest accomplishments in sports history" he would have had an ecstatic response. He gets so much attention that he's almost like a sassy good looking woman. Everyone says the exact same thing, most people try to act like hard asses around him, so, in order for you to stand out you're going to have to speak from your heart or just say something with some real meaning, ya know?

I mean fuck, at least Big Ron is doing what he loves to do and he's getting compensated VERY WELL for it. How many of us can say that? Truthfully?

If half the world had half the dedication to life that Ronnie has, this world would be a much better, more productive place..

exactly my bets, but if SOMEHOW ronnie losses Jay will win, but ronnie won't ever lose til he quits
 
Well this I can guarantee:
Some unmarketable, assymetrical, aesthetically unpleasing, juiced and drugged beyond all reason individual will win and bodybuilding loses again.

Exactly how I feel. I think Dexter has the best physique in BB by far.

I can think of at least a 500,000 reasons/dollars that Ronnie and Jay juice that hard. Nuff said. :coffee:
 
There's no more guessing as to the outcome of the O. Until the judging goes to looking for symmetrical and aesthetically pleasing physiques the freaks will rule. I personally like Coleman circa 98-2000, with 99 being my fav. Now he's just too big.

Agreed. I like Ronnie but I think he had one of the best physiques of all time a few years ago. Now he is just too big and bulky, but that's the name of the game right now. It sucks because guys like Cutler are IMO ruining their physiques to try to keep up. It sucks when guys sacrafice conditioning to just come in with insane size. I would like to see guys like Dave Henry, Dexter and Gustavo taking the O instead of the freaks but you still have to give it to Ronnie. He works out harder than probably anyone else and he does still come in conditioned as all hell. I think that is where he always beats Jay. He has striations in places Jay doesn't even have muscle.
 
Damn i just saw all the posts and no one even mentioned GBadell? Out of all those mentioned Dexter does have the best physique being that his gut isn't that bad. The rest Gustavo included have nasty gorilla guts... But f it. It is what is..
 
Ronnie will win then its a toss up. I think maybe phil heath will crack the top 5. Heath has won every show he's ever done! I think he'll break a few hearts even Jay's in the next few years.

I agree, I think Jay has done quite a lot and may not be able to do all that much more. Heath on the other hand, it relatively new at this, he is young and
can make a lot of progress over the next couple of years.
 
Triple H will step away from hosting it, do the DX crotch chop to Ronnie, and win the whole fucking show!!

Oh wait, no I mean Big Ron will take it again!!
