From what I recall of watching pro tennis, she managed her sisters (in terms of publicity and money, while the dad did more of the coaching).
I recall seeing her at one event and looking very nouveau riche with hair extensions, lots of gold dangly jewelry, and outrageous outfits.
The closet racist in me wonders what she got tied up in since she "obviously couldn't handle the newfound wealth".
The better side of me just assumes that someone likely was jealous.
In the end, I think either of the Williams sisters could beat me in tennis, and likely in arm wrestling too.
