I can tell that, thats the truth cuz he still has some very visible muscle(bicep,chest). He said that in H.S. he was on the football team and they used to give them roids. I asked if they were injects or orals, he said only orals. Again he was huge!!! My question is what types of roids could it have been that the school was giving the kids? Usually oral only roids wont make you that big, but with him it did. Were there other roids out back then? What were they? Thank you all!!! -J

The answer to this is dbol. I'm almost 100% he was given dbol. I've talked to many middle aged men that received the little blue pills from their school coaches back in high school. This is pretty much how Dbol was given the name "Breakfast of Champions." Wish they still had them Ciba pills today.
That's why I somewhat laugh at a lot of the tv/sports critics when they knock down today's athletes being "enhanced." It's been here for a very long time.

In the late 80's I used to get counterfeit(but real) D-bol in a little blue bottle from West Germany 5mgs/100 pills for $25. But what I think the poster's friend is referring to the 50mg D-bols available back in the 70's. Anyone ever heard of Bolasterone? Supposedly that was the shiz-nit back in the day-but I guess it was a lot of hype?

This was originally a popular oral steroid being used in Europe. It had functions similar to dianabol, but it has long since been discontinued. Several years ago bolasterone became the first big name counterfeit steroid to be internationally marked.
Belonging to a group of steroids titled the DDR compounds, inferring they came from East Germany, this steroid was billed as the best drug ever made. It became very popular partially because several respected steroid experts were in on the production of it, and gave it rave reviews in their publications. Thousands of 30 cc vials of this injectable steroid were sold at a price of over 200 dollars a piece.
It was said to contain ten miligram of the drug per cc, but it actually contained a low dosage of several domestic steroids mixed together. In the spring of 1986 the makers of this drug were busted. There are still at least three other counterfeiters using the bolasterone name: UCLA bolasterone, available in a 10 cc vail; new bolasterone, available in a 10 cc vial, and bolasterone depot available in a 50 cc vial. All of these items are the worst kind of counterfeit steroids made. They are worthless and dangerous. Many athletes are still taking these drugs. It is obvious that any item carrying a bolasterone or GDR label should be avoided

maybe im wrong, but didnt the military give soldiers bolasterone in ww1 because of its effectiveness? im sure it probably wasnt more effective than dbol but was probably the first administered oral that people started using. then again im an idiot and just spitting out shit i heard back in the day.

We popped dbol back then. It was common and no big deal. Purity was high and it didn't take many mg p/d to get bigger and stronger.
These drugs were originally developed to help prisoners of war recover from the concentration camps in Asia and Europe.

Amazing how a little beef on your physique makes you into a chick magnet. I think 50% of your game comes from the newly found confidence you get from looking better. Unfortunately, as you get older your dating pool remains the same age-wise. Early 20-something girls are the best sport-fucks, but if you get serious with them you're playing with fire. I've had 3 LTR's with girls that were in their early 20's that decided that dating a guy so involved in their training wasn't for them in their late 20's. I can't even look at most girls over 28 without being disgusted by their flat asses, stretchmarks from trophy bastard kids, etc. I won't even mention the jaded look in their eyes from being fucked and chucked by dozens of guys. To answer your question, I think it was 50/50. To be honest, women approached me once in a while, even before that, but I definitely started to follow through a little easier and more regularly afterward. . .definitely gave me a little attitude boost. Plus, it didn't hurt that I spent more time running (rugby required a great deal of cardio) around town/campus without a shirt.
I remember back in the late eighties in my city. I was in my last year of h-school, and it was trendy to be gigantic big....I didnt do fitness back then, but i remember how my friends blew up to 120-130 kilo all of a sudden. In the local gymcenter they sold steroids and the staff would inject the customers in the shower room
