...was watching an interview with an actor last nite. He was asked if it was difficult to do nude love scenes. He replied that yes, it was difficult and that once he got an errection.....


he said he apologized to this partner in the scene.

My question:

What is the proper ettiquete?

Do you apologize if you get an errection? Or do you apologize if you do NOT get an errection??

Seems like a no-win for the actor.

One actress in an iterview siad that she knew of many love/sex scenes in movies that are not acting!

But I would thik that if you are "in character", and not "acting" than an erection would be almost inevitable! The apology after the scene is shot is just courteous!

Sadly I have yet to do a sex scene, in any production, but I'll tell you when I do!

It's a touring troupe that I have just got going. The woman in Talley's Folly with me next month is a professional. Truly amazing. That is going to be a Valentines Dinner Theatre. The director of the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta is coming to see me in it. More pressure, like I need that in a two person show.

Streetcar is going up in August and we will travel within the state and have 4 venues lined up.
