Ok chatters heres a serious ?

What is the most disgusting thing that you see american people doing, why is it disgusting in your opinion, and is it accepted in any other culture?

Seeing americans help other cultures, they all suck... what a waste of time.

Sucking down greasy junk food is pretty disgusting, but Australians do that just as much, if not more.

Other than the current government I don't really have anything against America as a country.

I wouldn't be comfortable in a gun culture society though, if you feel safer carrying a gun I wouldn't feel safe.

On a brighter note America has given this planet some of the best damn comedy ever - even Dubya qualifies for this. And all the cool, nifty inventions that we use everyday.

b0und (I love America, like a the nutty, funny family down the street)

At church two weeks ago (I try to take my mother every Sunday) they had their "fourth Sunday" which is an after-church luncheon. Everyone brings a dish each etc. etc.

I sat across from a 300+ lb woman in a wheelchair. She had gauze over her eye from where she'd lost it. She was on an oxygen service. She couldn't even move her wheelchair itself. She's sitting across from me at lunch, and I'm thinking: "How is she going to do this?" She draws a needle full of insulin, shoots up, then asks my mother to go through the line for her to get food. Mom gets her a good bit of food (She figured she'd be a big eater). Then, once she's wiped that out, she asks me to go through the line for her one more time and wants nothing but sugary stuff. She points to one sugary thing after another and I'm thinking this woman is intentionally eating herself to death.

sounds like any good old addiction to me

I have a good one. How long the American presidential goes on. It starts two yrs before the actual election.

In other countries, it's about 6-8 weeks of campaigning and press. Americans are loud and need to do everything big and annoying.
Shut up already and elect a friggin prez so we can stop hearing about it.

I have several things that make me ill.

1) Lack of eprsonal responsibility. People do stupid shit, and then blame/sue someone else for it, or expect someone else to fix it, or look for the quickest fix available. Life involves consequences for our mistakes and americans in general seem to want to avoid that as much as possible.

2) The pussification of childhood. The padded playgrounds, the teachers that aren't allowed to hug a child who's crying without facing sexual battery charges, the little boy who can't kiss a girl on the cheek without getting kicked out of school - hell, I'm shocked parents haven't sued the pavement companies when their kid gets a skinned knee. I spent half my childhood with a dirty face, skinned knees, and halfway up a tree. Now that same tree got cut down because it was deemed "unsafe." Jesus tittyfucking christ, people.

Totally agreed. Unfortunately.

1. Obesity.

2. The idolization of pop culture.

3. "Reality" tv.

4. Nobody can do anything for themselves and it's never anyone's fault if they fail. Our housing market is a prime example of this.
