oil absess?

bros - i threw 3 cc of eq/test e into my left lateral delt head and have had a lump for a week now. but it does not hurt, is not red, or anything. it is just a lump.

is this the start of an oil absess? how do i know? what can i do to tell if it is one or just gear in a 'pocket' slowly disipating?

what should i do?

I had a scare with an injection. An abscess will turn red, swell and be hot to the touch from what I have read from other posts. I used a moist heating pad and the lump went down tremendously. I also took ibuprofen wich helped a little with swelling. Massaging helped also. Imho the shoulder is a small muscle I wouldn't inject 3 cc's into a delt.

massage the area good after injection. helps spread the oil. Thats a lot to put into a delt!

That's what I'm thinkin. You probably just have oil still in there that has yet to disperse. Wait another few days and you'll see it going down likely.

ok, cool. thanks bros. i will stick to a max of 1.5ml from now on for delts, leave the 3cc inject for glutes....

You know medically the MOST amount of an IM medicine you are suppossed to inject at one time is TWO(2) cc's.

Keep it below 1.5cc's

Don't trip-an abcess WILL turn red and swollen. I've had alot of both and I don't think you have anything to worry about--I always keep some amoxicillan on hand and take some when I think it might be an abcess, but a heating pad and massaging will probably help the oil disperse and the irritation will go down.

dont exclude it being an abscess (they dont always exhibit classic signs) but either way, at this point, massage, heat, and keep an eye on it

Ihad a weird lump a few weeks back in my left delt. It wasn't red or swollen it just looked like a bubble the size of a golf ball that didn't even hurt. It was also soft but went away within a week.
