Oh My God what have i done to myself

just coming off a terrible shoulder injury (16 weeks doing nothing more strenuous than walking up the stairs) which banged me up (couldnt sleep from pain, couldnt use left arm at all etc) and was doing my first workout tonight...

...and i am a LITTLE BITCH...I am crying just doing my warmup weights....everything is just so damn heavy....im only pumping out like 5 reps per set and failing...

someone kill me please :(

comming off a shoulder injury as well

it feels shitty having to use the pink weights again, but you will get back. just don't re-injure yourself trying to come back too fast
 
yeah i been there too, its hell aint it

i assume it wasnt a total tear....how did the rehab go?
 
its happened to most of us...luckily muscle memory is a real thing and you'll be back and then some before you know it
 
cheers for the sentiments guys, ill try to restrain myself until im respectable again

the shoulder injury has just now calmed down, it was very inflamed and difficult to assess, but it looks like bad tear in a small fibre...if that makes sense to you guys. got another appointment coming up, but it has just about cleared up fully...

actually after working out a little it feels much much better (ie from 95% healed to 99% post workout...im guessing the rest of my shoulder muscles have tightened up and are holding the joint together better

i did legs today (another horror story) and now im just a ball of pain...so im cheering myself up by eating extra :D in the form of premium pork leg steak on my BBQ :D

ok for those of you there who like reality tv, i have finally done all bodyparts, suffered many many painful walks up and down the stairs/ reaching for something/lifting things/generally being touched BUT on the bright side, i am starting to look like i train again!!! wowee all my muscles have filled up, my back is bumpy again, arms are up half an inch cold (back to normal :) ) and i feel much much stronger overall

waist is thinner, face is thinner, weight has gone up by 2lbs, but bodyfat scales show decrease in bodyfat (eh, more intramuscular fluid)

its going good its going good :)
 
now this is cool

before i was injured i weighed about 84-85 kilograms, then got injured, was off for 4 months completely, and have since been back into it for just under 3 weeks but training like a beast, diet is very high protein, low carb, low fat and overall low calorie (slightly).

i am training 6 days a week average, no cardio, very heavy, medium volume and i took my bodyfat and weight today....

compared to pre injury i am up 5-6 kilograms (i weigh about 90.5 kilograms) so an increase of about 11lbs....and my bodyfat has dropped by 1.5%.....

i am absolutely STOKED! im semi-beastish again, and im up easy 12lbs lean body mass WITH fat loss, NATURAL!!!! and about as strong as i was too!!!

sorry i have no one in real life who gives a shit about bf% :D had to tell someone :D
