im sensing another meatup.

I dunno, it might be a joke.

Contrary to the false belief spread by that popular television sitcom, there exists no amusement park or rollarcoasters in Port. In fact, there is nothing of interest there besides the pier and lighthouse. And that Christmas In Port store that somehow manages to stay open year-round. I still can't figure that one out.

He must have family there or something.

Probably work training

There aren't many big companies in Port.

... or small companies, for that matter. I think there's a might be a Charter Steel or something.

There are quite a few farms, though. Maybe Swole's a farmer?

LOL @ Puddles!

I'm providing engineering support to a plant in Port Washington (KleenTest - one of our co-packers) during production of our products...just like I was last week in Missouri and Michigan and fuggin Chicago...

Samoth you really around the Port? I'm staying at the Port Hotel...I have to find a local gym so I can work out Monday and Tuesday...I saw a YMCA on the web that's supposed to be nearby.

There's a KleenTest in Port? Huh, I never knew that.

I'm in Grafton, a few miles away from Port. (Grafton -> Saukeville -> Port)

The YMCA sucks. There's a couple basketball rooms and crap, but the free wieght stuff is... well, there's enough to get the job done. I don't remember if they allow chalk or not, but the weight area should be relatively deserted, so you can probably get away with it regardless.

You're lucky you won't be here this coming weekend... there's a huge (for around here) festival going on one block from where you're staying, and no parking for miles.

Lots of "pretty" fitness centers and university gyms don't allow chalk.

Horrible cars for cow tipping.

This was my best work trip to date.

The Port Hotel (check it) is unreal. They have 10 rooms that make you feel like you're staying in some rich couple's huge, luxurious, newly renovated house. Your gourmet fuggin breakfast of choice is served to your room whenever you'd like, and is included in your nightly rate. Our corporate rate is $99!!! I'm not talking about Holiday Inn scrambled eggs that resemble yellow styrofoam. Everything is for real for real homemade and delicious. I had apple cinnamon stuffed french toast every morning (simple carbs RULLE!) For dinner I had the pepper steak both nights. The best steak I have ever had in my life. Ever.

A coworker I've only known via teleconferences was on the product trial with me and he's all swoled up n shit and into bodybuilding n shit. So we lifted at the local Y, which was all nice n stuff and had everything we needed to bust up chest and back (not the same workout, schmeg faces). Coolll.

Top that with the nice, quiet area (I'd never live here, god it's boring - but not a bad getaway) and a Caddy CTS, and myoplex shakes that you bought on company dollars to fill in for meals, and a trial that went well enough that the plant people only had to peep their head in my guest office for a quick answer or signature or approval, and you have time well spent.

I love it.
