The basic info (age weight height etc) is crucial to giving any kind of advice, more so good advice.
So check it.
IE, guy was 5'10'' 260 10%, now he's 230 12%, its probably ok to get going again after some reconditioning. BUT if he was 200 and now 170, bad idea for at least a year. The basic info is always relevant.
That being said, you should never hop back on after a stint of no training. You MUST get your body used to lifting again. All muscles and tendons/joints have suffered from atrophy, and you will almost certainly hurt yourself lifting heavy. Secondly, that lost weight will be the easiest gained weight you will ever have. Why not take the easy gains back, then cycle? You will net 50lbs instead of 35. Sounds like a win to me.
IMO, when you are close to where you were (assuming it was adequate to begin cycling in the first place....stats again) , do something easy and short and push past your previous plateau. Then you can consider a bigger cycle when you are ready.
