Obama care Unconstitutional

The law isn't written so as to be severable. Most laws (and contracts) have severability clauses that so that even if one element is found to be void, the other parts survive. ObamaCare wasn't written that way.

I figure it was something that would have been added in conference committee but since they snuck it under the wire using reconciliation, that part couldn't be added (just my guess).

I never liked the part about not having having healthcare being illegal/breaking the law, I now have healthcare but when i first got here and started working there was no way in hell I could fully afford it, if they make it like in other countries where it's one system for all and they deduct a % from your salary I might get it, but not the way it was being proposed... I do thing health care providers have to stop being huge bitches and nailing/excluding people do to preexisting conditions.... that's bullshit...

That's exactly the point that most Americans made during the healthcare debate. It wouldn't be hard to fix the indiscretions of insurance companies -- but even that would make premiums more expensive.

It's the takeover aspect that most people resented. And the other elephant in the room is how to get the cash to support another 30M to 40M uninsured people.

someone tell this to Massachusetts...also...FL is always good for a LOL..they should just secede already

Obamaa Care won't pass cuz 1) people aren't happy with Obama ad don't trust mr. fraud and 2) People are happy with our healthcare and don't want the gubment fucking it up.

Take away FREE healthcare for anyone w/o a social security number and the system fixes itself.

People who have good healthcare plans are generally satisfied.

Now I'm sure there are people out there doing slimy party-time employment or 1099 maneuvers to avoid healthcare costs, but I'm also sure lowlifes like that wouldn't rise their reptilian heads on the likes of EF.

True?

word. Besides, many of these people already get free gubment healthcare. However, while many do wish for some changes, they DON'T trust the messiah they stupidly elected to fix it. Kinda like how he's "fixed" the economy so far - hahahaha.

Damn I wish!

I'd be dangerous (literally) with an organic chemistry lab setup. One of my best friends does research in this area. He always reminds me that there are no "old, bold organic chemists". You only get to pick one.

One of the main reason premiums are sky high is that the're are slugs that fake injuries at work and stay on workers comp for years. Also, the sue happy society we live in is something to consider.

You don't need to raise the cash to insure those people because the majority of them people are young in college that don't really need it, however, if they do there's charities that will pay their medical bills the other half are illegals, sooooo need I say anymore....

I resent it with my whole heart because I have great benefits....and which I earned, so It pisses me off if they fuck with my benefits to insure a bunch of dead-beats! I'm not talking about the elderly or disabled...
