Understandable, but you did not respond to my explanation about why these stats could very easily be completely true.

The statistics are not so hard to believe if you think about it. Very few people here would openly criticize blacks. A decent number will openly bash Jews, but the majority does not like homosexuals.

I'm not saying anything. But generally when p0ink puts out info from conservative groups, I'll ask the same question. actually with p0ink I don't really ask any questions, I usually write off anything from conservative groups or think tanks. So I figured I'd do the same with your "group".

But let me ask you this. What IS the agenda of the Lamda group? Certainly they must have some agenda or purpose, otherwise they wouldn't be in existance? Right?

Their agenda is to represent gay people in legal matters. They have plenty to do without fabricating statistics about the dropout rate. I don't see how this promotes a social agenda.

There is a diffeernce in a statistical study with a cited source and wild-eyed claims originating without documentation from freerepublic.com.

As I said, this is such a well known fact among peole who work in school counseling -- has been for well over a decade -- that I just don't understand why you question it. What am I missing? What is your reason for doubting it?

OK, but you've also argued that the condition of gay kids is no worse than that of Arabs, jews, blacks. And when you are presented a statistic demonstrating the contrary, you question it because of the source of its REPORTING. So, your questioning is part of a pattern that is not exaclty objective since you took a stand earlier. ONe could as easily be skeptical about the claim that gay kids are no more abused than others.
