I hate to say this, but as long as there are guys that act fruity and feminine in school there is going to be other guys that will be beating them up, duct taping them to lamp posts, giving them super wedgies etc... It has happened forever and no amount of school security will stop it.

Maybe their own school isn't such a bad idea.... as long as it is private. If vouchers ever come into existence then one could use their allotment to go to the school.... otherwise I don't think taxes should go towards something like this.

I agree. Segregating is a bad idea. What we need to do is pressure the teachers and councilors to do what they should have been doing from the start, standing up for the students that are picked on for what ever reason.

Many schools desperately need to employ at least one enormous Body Builder or Power Lifter who’s only job is to put bullies in their place.

There are plenty of strait Christian people who get the shit kicked out of them for looking or acting “gay”. So if these bad situations are caused by god than he is obviously incompetent.

These witch hunts actually hurt at least as many straits as they do gay people.

Through out most of human history homosexuality was very well accepted. We where not hated until homophobic monotheistic religions became popular.

And you honestly think that Christianity marks a new enlighten that is here to stay? Christianity is still very well spread but Atheism is a lot more tolerated now than it was 50 years ago. And then it was still more accepted than it was 100 years before that. And in the Dark Ages you would be killed for being an atheist.

Not to long ago there was a news special talking about how the church is having trouble finding more priests.

Religion is already falling. This is not my opinion this is a fact. It will be here for a long time but it is only a matter of time before the majority will almost view it as a joke. Most people will still believe but hardly anyone will take it anywhere near as seriously as you do.

While Christianity is decreasing in most western countries it is growing in places like Africa and China.

As for the US I think the decrease can be directly linked to the subtle and deliberate attack by secular humanists on our school systems. Through organizations like the ACLU the Ten Commandments, Bible teaching and school prayer have been removed from the public forum. Since 1962 most kids have grown up in the US without any moral compass or sense of national morality. They are taught that mankind is the ultimate authority and that they only have to look to themselves for answers.

I feel sorry for those people who don't think there's anything greater than themselves. It must feel like a lonely and frightening world for them. Lone-ranger spirituality is not conducive to taking us to the depths God designed us to go.

BTW: Christianity is not a religion; it is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
